“Political tyranny is nothing compared to the social tyranny and a reformer who defies society is a more courageous man than a politician who defies Government”. A brilliant quote by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. A person who tried to change the whole social as well as political, yet in the present situation every time it feels that he is being masked by social/political anarchy. He gave us the courage and the freedom to speak, so that no one feeds on that freedom. But instead of all these, we just find Ambedkar as ‘the Architect of the Constitution’. His true fight was against the betrayal faced the people who are striving for equality. For peace. For commitment. For a nation with true democracy. For a nation with good governance. He fought to take India to the top most position as a democratic nation. He wanted to challenge inequality. Yet I find that his fight rests with only a group of people, while others are gaining respect just because of the inequality they are trying to spread.

When the world is being betrayed just to gain friendship between the betrayers, then the question lies before the individuals who chose them living in a democracy. Democracy gives you the power to choose the one you want to see as your leader, but does it allow you to behead your thoughts just to make your arms go higher than those who believe to choose a leader who loves to be chosen among the thinkers as well as the non – thinkers, believers alongwith the non – believers? In a democracy you get full opportunity to knock every door, but when you knock and find a single and synonymous answer (either in the form of a bullet or a comment) then are you enjoying democracy? You may think it as democracy when the enemy (minorities) which you have cultivated in your mind, gets beaten irrespective if his/her fault.

You may share this prospect with your friends when you are taking a sip of tea and your thinking will spread like a virus. Like a virus your democracy will feed when it enters their brain which has already been malfunctioned by the leader whom you call as a democratic leader. The leader who is a communal gallon. The leader who is a misogynist and racist when he speaks. He is the scientist/dictator, who rose to power just because your kind of democracy wanted to manufacture a virus which can spread the rage and hatred like a mass error inside a materialistic universe.

The nuclear bombs when got its origin the moment it landed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Ophenheimer got engulfed by the murders he committed just because he created a beast which can be tamed only when ‘the dictating democracy’ wants it to be as a pet. What Ophenheimer felt was the birth of a democracy because he came to know what the hateful democracy is leading to.

The clock now has moved from the 20th century to the 21st century, but we are still confused what democracy is. Democracy is not where power just wears a gown to hide dictatorship. It resides within the people who believe that racism, misogyny, Hatred for the minority is a pest. When we will show that we do not want a leader just to show that our religion, skin colour, gender is much purer than the other religion, skin colour and gender, then it is the birth of democracy. When we will demand for a leader, who can teach the haters that hatred will stay mikes away when you live in a democracy. And if he/she disobeys the equality then he/she will get the same treatment, then only true democracy will take its first breath.

But alas, this democracy now is taking its last breath when demagogues are choosing misogynist and racist servants. It is taking its last breath when two nations with two demagogues are shaking hands just to spread the kind of hatred their followers wanted them to spread. Alas, that thinking is dying just to unite dictating rulers. Choking is becoming a pleasure and the world is striving for democracy.

If we cannot be specific then we should never behead the thinkers who believe that democracy is still a puppet within which the voters are trying to set their status and they are not afraid as they believe that only their enemies will be replenished for which they chose a leader who believes that hatred needs to be watered properly to gather power.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is dying each and everyday when the nation is going into the hands of rulers who love a inequal nation. He is dying when ‘the stomach full of rich worms’ are feeding their loved one’s more than the poor ones. Don’t let him die. He is just not an architect. He is just not a statue with Western cloth and a big book. He is a spirit to remember why we are humans.

LET’S BELIEVE IN AMBEDKAR
